The No. 1 North Carolina women's soccer team (6-0, 6-0 ACC) kept its undefeated record with a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Boston College (0-5, 0-5) on Sunday.
Gavin Gallaher, the No. 147 overall recruit in the class of 2023, committed to UNC baseball at the end of September. Gallaher has been preparing for college ball all his life and has had plenty of family support along the way.
“Football season was something that the staff and all of our hotels look forward to here in Chapel Hill,” Strickland said. “There is usually a lot of excitement in the area and a lot of people visiting. It is a good opportunity for our hotel to let people experience what Chapel Hill and Carrboro are really all about.”
“We have several young women that we are very conscious of now that are fighting and we have had several players that have contracted cancer in a very aggressive way," coach Anson Dorrance said. Marking the beginning of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, UNC’s soccer teams are working together to raise money for the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
