Senior Josh Stewart, a Communication Studies Major from Greensboro, poses at his home in Chapel Hill. Stewart will travel to France for two weeks in May to intern with at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, a great opportunity for Stewart, who hopes to find work in the film industry after he graduates. "The most exciting thing [about going to Cannes] is the exposure to industry professionals," Stewart said. "It's a great opportunity to get noticed and get your name out there." After Cannes, Stewart will travel to Los Angeles to intern for April Webster Casting as part of the Hollywood Media Internship offered through the Communications Studies Department.

CJ Suitt, of Chapel Hill, screen presses a shirt found at the Swap-O-Rama-Rama, an event that encouraged the trade and creative re-use of clothing at Earth Action Day on Saturday at the Southern Community Park. Suitt and Jake Jacoby (right) are cofounders of Sacrificial Poets, a group that performs spoken-word poetry and works with high school students in Chapel Hill, and performed at the event.

Yves Jacques performs The Andersen Project in Memorial Hall. Written and directed by Robert Lepage, the play is inspired by two stories by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. Jacques will perform the one-man show, produced by Lepage's Quebec-based theater company Ex Machina, in Memorial Hall on Thursday and Friday.
