UNC Student Body President Chris Everett addressed the current state of certain UNC facilities.
The UNC Honor System, which has been student-led for over 100 years, includes three stages: investigation, hearing and post-hearing.
“This has been put together to supplement the need for more queer-friendly and more queer-focused readings that we may be missing in our formal curriculum,” UNC doctoral student Bryce Ross said. The reading group will meet for its first session on Oct. 27 at 4 p.m.
Students attended an introductory course for UNC Police's Rape Aggression Defense program on Sep. 18. While the UNC RAD program typically teaches practical defense techniques in a free 12-hour course, the “express” program taught at the event, which was hosted by the Society of Women Engineers, allowed students to learn key aspects of the longer program in just 30 minutes.
