Eve Carson Scholarship to welcome 15th class

The scholarship was created to pay tribute to 2008 UNC Student Body President Eve Marie Carson, who envisioned a scholarship that awarded UNC juniors for leadership and service during their time at UNC. Applications for the 15th class of scholars opened on Monday, Nov. 27.

UNC Peer Support Core opens 2023 mini-grant applications

The Core set aside $30,000 for peer support projects at UNC this year, and mini-grant applications are accepted on a rolling basis until May 15. According to its website, the Core's funding is designed for ongoing activities that encourage social connections, especially among high-priority student groups like international students and students in the LGBTQ+ community.
