Little consensus on what UNC grades mean

The B.It might be the most misunderstood letter at UNC. Neither students nor professors can agree on exactly what it represents.For some, it is the mark of adequacy, signifying a performance that doesn’t go above the average and rewards just showing up.“I feel like to get a B here, if you read the textbook and at least study before the exam, depending on the class, and do the work that’s asked of you, and maybe a little outside of that — you can get a B,” said Sarah Peck, a sophomore journalism and English double major.
