Tar Heels top ECU in a thriller

As soon as the ball left Dustin Ackley's bat in the bottom of the ninth inning Fronk took off from his lead at second base and didn't stop until he slid across home plate for the final run of the Tar Heels' wild 11-10 victory against East Carolina (40-22) on Saturday at Boshamer Stadium. "To win like that, you can't win any more exciting than that in baseball," Tar Heel head coach Mike Fox said. "Maybe a walk-off, but I'll take that single up the middle any day."
