The cycling culture in Chapel Hill and Carrboro has grown over the past 20 years, and as the community increases, town infrastructure is beginning to expand to reflect it.
From Feb. 20 to March 24, the 21 artists in the Hillsborough Gallery of Arts will be paying homage to Hillsborough singer-songwriter Mary Rocap with visual interpretations of her work.

Native seed storage at the N.C. Botanical Garden helps protect and replenish local plant species, and UNC students can check out seeds for their own gardening endeavors at the BeAM Makerspace in Kenan Science Library.
Led by Andy Nason, the tour visits stops on Franklin and Rosemary Street.
“When you first step into a dorm, it's just a blank room, often cinder blocks, and you've got to actually make it what you want to be,” sophomore Max Nelson said. “And I think that through introducing plants and through dorm gardening, you can really help make that space your own and make it a space that you want to be in.”
