24Live Marathon returns, benefits local YMCA

Comedians are set to take the stage for a worthy cause this weekend at the Dirty South Improv Comedy Theater. 24LIVE Marathon is back for its sixth year with a new format and even more improvisational and sketch comedy. The marathon, featuring performances by local high school students, as well as professional improvisational ensembles, will raise money and awareness for the Chapel Hill-Carrboro YMCA's Strong Kids Campaign, which seeks to enrich the lives of children in the community. Money raised from 24LIVE will be used by the campaign for scholarship funds.
