Music program to launch soon
By LAUREN HARRIS | November 24When students return from Winter Break, those living in residence halls will have unlimited access to their favorite songs. Information Technology Services is launching a pilot music downloading program in January that will allow students to sample music through four service providers for free. Early next week, students will receive an e-mail from the University with a link to the pilot program's Web site, where they will be able to preview each service and sign up for the spring semester, said Tom Warner, director of coordinated technology management for the UNC system.
