April Campaign Focuses on Preventing Sexual Assault
By Margaret Barrett and Matt Ezzell | April 23Throughout April, the Orange County Rape Crisis Center participates in Sexual Assault Awareness Month. We hand out teal ribbons to wear in support of survivors of sexual violence, and we display T-shirts made by survivors and those close to them through the Clothesline Project. These activities, we hope, help to empower survivors of sexual violence to speak out and to seek assistance in ways that help with their healing journey.
