Carolina Brewery recently signed agreements with several beer distribution companies to distribute their beer throughout the state so they can focus on making beer.

Leanna Tyndall, 23, holds Carolina Brewery’s sampler paddle on Thursday. The Chapel Hill native has worked at the bar and restaurant on and off for the past six years. The brewery has recently expanded their beer distribution to more areas across North Carolina.

Redshirt sophomore Rachel Wood sat out the entire UNC women’s soccer 2009 national championship season due to an autoimmune disease. She returned this season and grabbed a spot on the starting lineup at center back, where she played against Tennessee (below, right) last week in only her fifth game on the pitch in more than a year.

Umber Siddiqui (left), Ruhina Shemna (center) and Hiba Chohan (right) enjoy a Pakistani meal of chicken, rice, potatoes, peas and salad provided by Olive Green in Raleigh. Students met in the Great Hall to help break the fast at sundown, where special speakers applauded the students for their hard work and donation to the flood victims in Pakistan.
