On Nov. 1, Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools began offering evening buses for middle and high school students who want to participate in after-school programs. One bus per school leaves each middle school at 5:35 p.m. and each high school at 6:35 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

The Town of Carrboro adopted the Bolin Creek Greenway Conceptual Master Plan nearly 14 years ago. The plan is the first comprehensive guide for the greenway's construction and has allowed for greater walking, wheeling and bicycling accessibility along the Bolin Creek and James Creek corridors.

Chapel Hill Transit has been awarded a $2.16 million grant by the Federal Transit Administration to improve bus stops and advance its Bus Stop Improvement Plan. Chapel Hill was one of 130 municipalities across the country to receive one of these grants.
