North Carolina men's tennis falls in ACC Tournament

The No. 12 North Carolina men’s tennis team lost, 4-3, to No. 3 Virginia on Saturday, in the semifinals of the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament, after defeating No. 32 Florida State, 4-1, in the quarterfinals the day before, at the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Georgia. The Cavaliers (27-1) have been a thorn in the side of the Tar Heels (24-4) this season, with Virginia winning all three matchups, the last two by 4-3 scores.

UNC men's tennis comes up just short  in 4-3 loss to Virginia

The No. 11 North Carolina men’s tennis team lost, 4-3, to No. 4 Virginia at the Snyder Tennis Center in Charlottesville, Va. This is the Tar Heels (19-3, 6-2 ACC) second loss to the Cavaliers (20-1, 7-1 ACC) this season, and their third straight to Virginia overall.
