Police log for March 7, 2017

• Someone reported hearing gunshots on the 200 block of Chesley Lane at 7:36 p.m. Sunday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

• Someone reported an underage individual trying to get alcohol at Benny Cappella's at 122 E. Franklin St. at 1:09 a.m. Sunday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

• Someone reported larceny on the 100 block of East Franklin Street at 1:23 p.m. Sunday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. 

The person had a wallet containing a credit card, cash, driver's license and UNC One Card, worth $100 in total, stolen during Franklin Street celebrations, reports state. 

• Someone reported larceny at Pantana Bob's at 305 W. Rosemary St. at 2:57 p.m. Sunday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. 

The person had a handbag and keys, worth $310 in total, stolen, reports state. 

• Someone reported larceny on the 100 block of East Franklin Street at 12:53 p.m. Sunday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. 

The person had an iPhone, worth $400, stolen, reports state. 

• Someone reported a lost phone at Top of the Hill Restaurant, Brewery and Distillery at 100 E. Franklin St. at 2:02 a.m. Saturday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. 

The lost phone was valued at $950, reports state.
