Chapel Hill

  • An arrest was made for first-degree burglary on the 100 block of Ashley Forest Road at 6:10 p.m. on Sept. 14, according to Chapel Hill Police reports. 
  • An arrest was made in Chapel Hill for larceny by employee on the 100 block of West Barbee Chapel Road at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 13, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.
  • An arrest was made for public defecation on the 100 block of East Franklin Street at 12:47 p.m. on Sept. 12, according to Chapel Hill Police reports. 

The report stated the suspect went into the CVS on East Franklin Street and defecated in the elevator.

  • A report of trespassing was investigated at the CVS at 1718 Fordham Blvd. at 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 12, according to Chapel Hill Police reports. 
  • An arrest was made for breaking and entering at the Chipotle at 1521 E. Franklin Street at 4:16 a.m. on Sept. 12, according to Chapel Hill Police reports. 
  • A report of robbery was investigated on 1800 block of Fordham Boulevard at 4:23 p.m. on Sept. 11, according to Chapel Hill Police reports. 

The report stated that $700 and some medication was stolen.

  • A report of non-criminal damage to property was investigated on the 300 block of McMasters Street at 3:33 p.m. on Sept. 11, according to Chapel Hill Police reports. 

The reported damage was to OWASA water pipes.

  • A report of a hit and run was investigated at the intersection of Fordham Boulevard and Lakeview Drive at 7:25 a.m. on Sept. 11, according to Chapel Hill Police reports. 
  • A report of a vandalism/damage to property and trespassing was investigated at 127 E. Franklin St. at 3:14 a.m. on Sept. 11, according to Chapel Hill Police reports. 

The damage was reported to be to a bathroom wall in Waffle House.

Carrboro

  • An arrest was made for misdemeanor larceny on the 500 block of Jones Ferry Road at 8:23 a.m. on Sept. 15., according to Carrboro Police reports. 
  • An arrest was made for second-degree trespassing on the 300 block of North Greensboro Street at 12:17 a.m. on Sept. 12., according to Carrboro Police reports. 
  • A report of misdemeanor larceny was investigated on the 500 block of Jones Ferry Road at 8:36 a.m. on Sept. 12, according to Carrboro Police reports. 
  • A report of injury to personal property and disturbance was investigated at the 600 block of Jones Ferry Road at 1:14 p.m. on Sept. 11, according to Carrboro Police reports.
