Update (3:23 p.m.): Northam said in a statement Friday that Chapel Hill Police believe the case is not a threat to the community and they are still trying to contact the next of kin.
Two dead bodies were found in a Chapel Hill home on Deming Road on Thursday afternoon.
Chapel Hill police are proceeding with a death investigation, according to Ran Northam, public information officer for the town.
