  • Someone was arrested for speeding to elude arrest on the 100 block of Sunset Drive/Rosemary Street in Carrboro at 4:21 p.m. on Thursday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

The report states the suspect is a Durham resident and was driving a black 2008 Infinity G35.

  • Someone reported a larceny on Vilcom Center Drive at 10:56 a.m. on Friday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

The report states the suspect attempted to crack a safe.

  • Someone reported an automobile theft on the 100 block of East Franklin Street at 10:55 a.m. on Sunday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

The report states the suspect stole a black 2013 Infinity G37 valued at $16,500. The police will continue the investigation, according to the report.

  • Someone was cited for shoplifting on the 1800 block of East Franklin Street at 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.
