You’ve got about five days to polish your Rubik’s cube skills before playing the biggest game of your life — against UNC’s own Chancellor and reigning champion, Holden Thorp.
The Chancellor will take on students Monday at his Innovation Fair on the quad at noon.
If you missed this video of Thorp crushing the competition in the 80s (in chunky glasses no less), just skip ahead to about 3:30 to see what the Chancellor can do.
It’ll be an event whether you choose to play or not, so make sure to show up. One’s got to wonder — can the Chancellor do it again in just 48 seconds?
Whether or not the Chancellor brings home the title once more, one thing’s for sure: he still has that “Holden” button.
