`Dap' Grad Student Fashions a Trend
By Shahrzad Rezvani | April 5In a few years, fashion nuts might be clad in a clothing brand launched by Shuaib Lakhany, a UNC graduate student in the Kenan-Flagler Business School, whose budding fame could place him among the likes of Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger.Lakhany said his men's clothing line carries its essence in its name: Dap-Rugget.The name comes from the words "dapper," meaning clean-cut, and "rugged." The line differs from typical brands because some items can transform to fit both the workplace and nightlife.Dap-Rugget will be featured at 7 p.m.
