Wrist injuries continue to plague the North Carolina men’s basketball team’s NCAA tournament run as point guard Kendall Marshall has a scaphoid fracture in his right wrist.
The injured hand isn’t the lefty’s shooting hand, but his status for the rest of the tournament is uncertain.
The team doctors will cast his wrist tonight, mostly for his comfort.
Forward John Henson just returned from a three-game absence due to a sprained wrist he suffered in the ACC tournament.
Marshall had 18 points and 11 assists in UNC’s 87-73 win against Creighton in the third round of the NCAA tournament.
