Chapel Hill Police Reports: Jan. 31 - Feb. 4

Police
  • Someone reported a larceny after a no-force breaking and entering on the 600 block of Caswell Road at 12:02 p.m. on Thursday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

The report states the suspect stole a Samsung 55-inch TV valued at $600.

  • Officers made a traffic stop on the 300 block of S. Estes Drive at 3:29 a.m. on Saturday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

The report states the incident was a jump and run.

  • Someone reported an open door on the 100 block of S. Estes Drive at 8:29 a.m. on Sunday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.
  • Someone reported a case of ATM fraud on the 100 block of W. Barbee Chapel Road at 9:48 a.m. on Monday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

The report states the suspect cloned an ATM card and withdrew $323 from a bank.

  • Someone was charged with consuming alcohol off premises on the 1200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at 4:45 p.m. on Monday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.
