Chapel Hill Police Reports: Feb. 7 - Feb. 10

  • Officers made an arrest for a first degree trespassing on the 100 block of E. Franklin Street 5:50 a.m. on Sunday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

The report states the suspect was trespassing at Waffle House. The suspect was given a $500 secured bond and a trial date of Feb. 11, according to the report.

  • Officers made five arrests for open containers on the 100 block of E. Franklin Street between 11:45 p.m. on Saturday and 12:15 a.m. Sunday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

The report states the suspects were all given court dates for March 26, 2019 at 9 a.m.

  • Officers reported two suspicious vehicles on the 300 block of Umstead Drive at 11:14 p.m. on Thursday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

The report states a black 2008 Volkswagen car and a grey 2008 Acura car were seen at the park after park hours.
