Student Congress passes changes to Student Code

On Tuesday night, the rules and judiciary committee of Student Congress passed changes to two titles of the Student Code, while eliminating another. Speaker of Student Congress Zach De La Rosa — the creator of the changes to the Student Code — led the meeting with his proposals, which were all passed unanimously by the committee. Titles I and IV were amended for clarity, while Title VII was completely removed.

Updated Student Code to be posted online today

An outdated version of the Student Code, UNC’s primary document governing student affairs, has been posted online for several months. But that should change today. Speaker of Student Congress Zach De La Rosa said the most updated version of the Student Code will be posted on the Student Congress website today.

Student records stolen from SASB North

Confidential records for 31 students were stolen after a break-in at the student judicial system office in Student and Academic Services Building North, according to UNC News Services. The larceny was discovered at 8 a.m. Monday.
