I spent as much time doing work yesterday as I did sending lengthy messages to high school seniors about why I came here. Mostly because I wanted to, but partly because it felt like the perfect excuse to evade work.

It was for my media law class sophomore year, and I requested a copy of Mindy Kaling's birth certificate from the Massachussetts Registry of Vital Records and Statistics.
