Student records stolen from SASB North

Confidential records for 31 students were stolen after a break-in at the student judicial system office in Student and Academic Services Building North, according to UNC News Services. The larceny was discovered at 8 a.m. Monday.

Police log for July 7, 2011

A suspicious person was knocking on a window at 12:29 a.m. Sunday at 700 Bolinwood Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Someone reported a suspicious Crown Victoria with a thin blue line license plate on its front and tinted windows at 8 p.m.

UNC Public Safety officers today (May 17) arrested Christopher Deas, 35, on three charges of sexual assault on a female by unwanted touching of feet.

More come forward in foot-touching case

The man arrested after entering classes and touching women’s feet was released from the Orange County Jail on a $2,500 bond May 17, a spokeswoman for the jail said. Christopher Deas, 35, is scheduled to appear before a judge on June 13, said a spokeswoman for the Orange County Superior Court.
