Police log for Dec. 7, 2011

Someone vandalized property at 132 S. Columbia St. between midnight and 8:30 a.m. Monday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. A power cord had been cut and decorations broken, police reports state. The Christmas decorations were valued at $700, according to police reports.

Someone stole a vehicle while the keys were in the ignition between 3:00 a.m. and 3:44 a.m. Thursday at 306 W. Franklin St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. The vehicle was valued at $3,000, reports state.

Someone reported a suspicious vehicle and a suspicious person at 12:37 p.m. Wednesday at 210 Saint Andrews Lane, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The person parked a vehicle in a parking lot and then walked behind town homes with bags and bottles, according to reports.

Police log for Nov. 14, 2011

Someone stole a bicycle at about 3:05 a.m. Friday at 108 W. Cameron Ave., according to Chapel Hill police reports. The person stole the bicycle and resisted, obstructed and delayed arrest, reports state. The stolen bicycle was valued at about $300 and was recovered, according to police reports.
